Bull's Head Straight Bourbon Whiskey is a small-batch wheated bourbon produced by Spirits Lab Distilling Co. in Newburgh, New York. Distilled from New York-grown grains with a mash bill of 70% corn, 20% wheat and 5% malted barley, it is aged five years in 53-gallon Independent Stave Co. Cooper's Select American oak barrels. Bottled at 45% ABV, it typically retails for around $48.

  • Light oak with a touch of heat. Smooth and round, but with little pops of peppery spice. Some burnt sugar and toffee flavors come out near the end.
