Buffalo Trace Kosher Wheat Recipe is a bourbon made in partnership with the Chicago Rabbinical Council (cRc). Using the same grains as W.L. Weller Bourbon, it was aged in specially designated Kosher barrels. To meet Passover requirements, these barrels were sold to a non-Jewish executive in a ceremony witnessed by a cRc representative. After seven years, the bourbon was bottled at 94 proof, ensuring no contact with non-Kosher spirits.
