This is a quality bourbon and completely understandable why people enjoy it. However, it still is supposed to be on the cheaper side and doesn’t try to be anything it’s not.
Easily the most robust, versatile, full bodied, full flavored and well balanced bourbon in the $20-$25 range. For my palate, and my wallet, it’s really hard to beat and I can’t recommend it enough.
Effervescent, tingly mouthfeel, but the flavor begins after the initial warmth, with hints of caramel apple, pumpkin pie, apricot, and a slight hint of caramel popcorn.
Everything about this bourbon feels like it’s been masterfully engineered to be the perfect example of what a bourbon should be. It’s hard to find any faults with this one and that’s by design.

House Review
Nose:
Vanilla, cinnamon and light butterscotch. There is no ethanol on the nose and everything blends together like a nice, light cinnamon roll of bourbon goodness.
Taste:
Its surprisingly complex and well blended, the vanilla is forefront and the cinnamon and spice back up the vanilla nicely. Overall, the mouthfeel is a bit thin but it coats nicely and all of the flavors are there. Its definitely BT Mashbill #1, and thats never a bad thing. Theres a faint hint of caramel and some light fruitiness.
Finish:
Its not terribly long, but its gentle on its way out. More vanilla and a hint of caramel, it leaves a pleasant warmth and a really great aftertaste that leaves you wanting another dram.
Overall:
This is a solid product with a lot going for it. Add in the very reasonable price (not considered in rating) and you've got a winner.
