  • The taste has notes of white pepper, mangoes, apricots, vanilla, toffee, and a hint of grilled pineapple. The finish is long with citrus fruits, a hint of spice, and a gentle peatiness with a touch of sea salt. Excellent!

  • A light touch of raisin evokes the Cognac cask, but it’s never in-your-face in the slightest, just a gentle touch of grape jam and a hint of lavender, set against the backdrop of the sea. A killer whisky.

  • The mouthfeel is quite oily, and that oily aspect extends into the flavor profile as well. Otherwise it is equally fruit sweet and cinnamon spicy, with a touch of ash rounding it out. The finish runs with that touch of ash and carries it off into its goodbyes.
