Sweet honey, pears, apples, some coconut and an interesting wisp of creamy sweetness.
Rich and sweet on the palate, tons of creamy vanilla, big raspberry and blackberry, pepper, some tobacco and allspice.
Long finish. Gritty and full of minerality, slate, pepper, light ash and some apple, currant, fig and beautiful Bruichladdich smoke.
Gorgeous Micro-Provenance release from Bruichladdich — and no surprise once you consider my favorite wine meeting one of my favorite distilleries. Great stuff here.
