  • Really impressive bottling here. Very big fan, especially impressed so much is going on without something dominating the profile. Delicious.

  • Nose:

Sticky sweet stewed fruits, wine, fig, black currant, cassis. Cocoa, musty pipe tobacco. Rich and pungent toffee. Decadent overall.

  • Taste:

Thich mouth feel. No heat. light brine, some lactic character. Nice oak structure. Then the wine storms in. Rich raisin bread, moist pipe tobacco, decadent toffee and syrupy sweetness. Complexity is impressive.

  • Finish:

Long, rich and sweet. Oak is more present, light acrid smoke, syrupy sweetness of stewed fruits and toffee. Heat is in check. The sweet tone is very nice as an exit.

  • Overall:

Really impressive bottling here. Very big fan, especially impressed so much is going on without something dominating the profile. Delicious.
