Broadslab Flue-Cured Bourbon is grown, mashed, distilled, matured and bottled on the Broadslab Distillery farm in Benson, North Carolina. The bourbon undergoes a patent-pending "flue-cured" aging process, where barrels are aged in a tobacco barn during the tobacco curing season. This process accelerates aging due to the intense heat the barrels experience while resting under drying tobacco leaves for approximately 72 hours. Per the brand, the method aims to pay tribute to North Carolina’s history of tobacco farming and whiskey production.
