  • An interesting dram I'd like to consider the Harvey Dent of the whiskey world. Unmistakably craft on one hand, bold and mature sticky sweet dessert factory on the other. Drinkers will need to be up for an adventure before setting out with this bottle, but the adventurous will be rewarded.

  • Nose:

Powerful and oily texture on the nose. Loaded with flavor. Sweet, buttered popcorn, liquid butterscotch, malty funk, chocolate covered cherry, a touch of hemp. Interesting, complex, inviting.

  • Taste:

Rich on the palate. A touch of damn grain, despite the age it's unmistakably craft-y. Not bad, but you'll need to be a fan of funky craft notes. Wet paper, pulp, caramel, cocoa, molasses and a big oak character. It's sort of two faced on the palate

  • Finish:

Long finish. You'd never know the proof of this bottle if it wasn't on the label in front of you. Sticky toffee, rice pudding, caramel candies, toffee, another light hint of hemp and stout beer notes. Powerful and the craft note has packed up and moved on.

  • Overall:

An interesting dram I'd like to consider the Harvey Dent of the whiskey world. Unmistakably craft on one hand, bold and mature sticky sweet dessert factory on the other. Drinkers will need to be up for an adventure before setting out with this bottle, but the adventurous will be rewarded.
