  • Surprisingly, this tastes younger than the previous releases this year, which goes to show that often age is just a number when mere months and days are concerned. It's still unapologetically Booker's, and fans who have been hoping for less peanut funk and more corn and caramel sweetness will be rewarded.

  • Nose:

Sweet up front, a touch of oak and loads of creamed corn and toffee. Surprisingly, it's light on those signature peanut brittle notes that Booker's (and most Beam) releases has, and it opens up a fruitier, more corn forward experience.

  • Taste:

Creamiest of the year, creamed corn, honeysuckle, toffee and fat banana cream pie and peanut brittle. The viscosity is notable, and while there is some heat, for 63% ABV, it's well within what I'd expect as far as ethanol on the palate and in your sinuses. Creamy, rich, great texture.

  • Finish:

Long finish, creamed corn and Werther's caramels are notable here; packed with sweetness and a touch of oak on the finish.

  • Overall:
