  • The finish is a long ride of spice and chocolate-covered almonds, melding with cooked fruit notes of orange and black cherry, as well as cracked pepper. A robust whiskey that carries its heft gracefully, and offers balanced complexity.

  • A tasty dry bourbon with plenty of oak to go around and mix with the darkly sweet and fruity notes that sit under the oak. A great last batch of 2019.

  • Wow, punchy stone fruit I did not at all find on the nose. Very proofy start, but the cherry note is so syrupy and feels encrusted in some light nuttiness. Walnut and hazelnut are the two that jump out at me.
