Following Blue Run’s acquisition by Molson Coors in August 2023, Reflection II builds on its predecessor with an increase of 5 proof points. The company states it contains less rye and features older whiskey stocks selected from Blue Run’s inventory of more than 5,000 barrels.
The mouthfeel is smooth, with pleasant spice and light notes of cooked berries, cinnamon, and flavorful integrated oak. It’s a bit hot—ice is a good fit. The finish is mid-length and creamy. A bright, fun, easygoing, flavorful, and smooth sipper.
