  • Nose:

Pleasant, sweet and bright on the nose. Very delicate but flavorful. The nose delivers soft grains, waffle cone, lemon peel, flower petals, a pinch of pepper and cardamom and a touch of buttercream frosting. The agave is pronounced but fits in well with the distillate so far.

  • Taste:

Moderate mouthfeel. This is a very flavorful, tasty bourbon. Big vanilla and butterscotch notes are joined by some pleasant agave, tannin, orange peel, clove, anise, raisin bread, cornbread and barrel char.

  • Finish:

Long finish with raisin, macadamia, agave, orange peel, grapefruit, char, cornbread and butterscotch.

  • Overall:

This is a lovely bourbon! The agave finish is subtle and super well integrated. The nose comes across on the grainy side — and the agave sticks out a bit there — but it works better on the palate and even better on the finish. All in all, this is an enjoyable, bright bourbon
