Bistra Slivovitz is a Serbian plum brandy bottled at 50% ABV. Ripe plums are pitted, then fermented in temperature-controlled tanks using regional yeasts. The mash is double distilled, blended and aged for three years in oak barrels up to 5,000 liters, followed by additional aging in stainless steel tanks before bottling.
