Benromach Peat Smoke is a single malt Scotch whisky from Benromach distillery in Speyside, Scotland. Made with malted barley and peated to 67ppm, it was matured for roughly nine years in first-fill bourbon casks and bottled at 46% ABV without chill filtration.
Challenging notes of creosote, charred oak, and earthy peat fire dominate, with underlying ripe barley, honey, and caramel apple. Aggressive, but not over the top.
