  • Lovely and fun, albeit a touch light. If I had to guess, the finishing period here for the Madeira is around 1-2 years: long enough to be noticed, but not long enough to turn this into a wine forward pour.

  • Nose:

    Sweet and citrusy on the nose. Lemon, berry, cream, honey and a hit of orange peel! Interesting and fun.

  • Taste:

    Fruity and light on the palate combined with some sweet cream, blackberry preserve and a light hint of tobacco.

  • Finish:

    Long peppery finish that’s rife with tobacco, blackberry jam snd honey.

  • Overall:

    Lovely and fun, albeit a touch light. If I had to guess, the finishing period here for the Madeira is around 1-2 years: long enough to be noticed, but not long enough to turn this into a wine forward pour.
