Distilled by Benriach, this bottling of Scotch whiskey comes with no vintage, but a 15 year age statement. Bottled at 46% ABV with no coloring or filtering, it's also finished in a Madeira wine cask, although there is no word of the length of duration.
Lovely and fun, albeit a touch light. If I had to guess, the finishing period here for the Madeira is around 1-2 years: long enough to be noticed, but not long enough to turn this into a wine forward pour.

Nose:
Sweet and citrusy on the nose. Lemon, berry, cream, honey and a hit of orange peel! Interesting and fun.
Taste:
Fruity and light on the palate combined with some sweet cream, blackberry preserve and a light hint of tobacco.
Finish:
Long peppery finish that’s rife with tobacco, blackberry jam snd honey.
Overall:
Lovely and fun, albeit a touch light. If I had to guess, the finishing period here for the Madeira is around 1-2 years: long enough to be noticed, but not long enough to turn this into a wine forward pour.
