  • The mouthfeel is lightly creamy with all of the main action occurring at the back of the mouth. You get caramel and cinnamon on the palate along with a predominate oak. It’s a dry tasting experience and the mouth is left feeling like you’ve spent an afternoon boarding on the sand dunes.

  • This is a complex bourbon with some very nice notes of vanilla and barrel char. This would be a nice bottle to have on the bar and bring out when your whiskey friends come over. I don’t like that the story behind the bourbon is so vague and has so many unknowns.

  • If you prefer a softer, sweeter style of bourbon, Barterhouse is for you. If you like things a bit more rugged and spicy, buy Rhetoric.
