There’s Mexican chocolate, a layer of duskier spice — not quite cloves but allspice, perhaps — and a finish of lightly honeyed graham crackers and another pinch of cinnamon — which appears to be an Avion trademark.
The tequila is bittersweet on the palate with a moderate amount of barrel spices mixed in. Overall, the tequila is medium full and while the oak influence is there, it isn't too overwhelming.
