Auchentoshan Springwood is a Lowland single malt Scotch whisky produced by Auchentoshan Distillery near Glasgow and bottled at 40% ABV. Created for travel retail, it matures in ex-bourbon casks.
The palate is clean and fruity, initially citric, with emerging apricots in honey, and fresh spices. More spice in the finish, with focuses on milk chocolate, cinnamon, and a suggestion of Madeira. €
Very short with nuts and some dry acidness, which gives a nice, delicate kick in the throat. Just enough to make it a whisky experience, but not too much to make it a good one.
