Arte Azul Tequila Rosa Reposado is produced at the Tequila Selecto de Amatitán in Amatitán. The woman-owned brand is made from 100% blue Weber agave and aged for 10 months in French oak barrels that previously held Cabernet Sauvignon, giving the tequila its blush color. According to the producer, the aging imparts notes of caramel, vanilla, cooked agave and chocolate. Bottled at 40% ABV, Arte Azul Tequila Rosa Reposado is presented in a handcrafted 1-liter ceramic bottle and typically retails for around $100.
