This is an independent bottling of spirit distilled at Arran and bottled by Single Cask Nation. Matured for 13 years in a 2nd Fill Oloroso Hogshead, this was bottled at cask strength with no coloring or filtering. I'm quite typically a fan of wine finished Arran, so this is one I'm excited for. Let's get to it.

House Review
Nose:
Sweet butter cream, red vines candy, praline, buttered toast and sweet raisin. The wine is fairly straightforward and evident. Ethanol is tame.
Taste:
Medium mouth feel. Heat in check. Sweet and oily with syrupy fruits, stewed fig, some pepper and praline. Fresh baked bread, black currant and syrupy berry.
Finish:
Long, powerful and loaded with berry, currant, syrupy and sulfur. Some pepper, nice oak structure. Heat grows with time.
Overall:
Delicious, complex and interesting. Nice work, Arran, and Single Cask Nation.
