First released in 1985, ARIEL alcohol-removed Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon are produced from grapes grown on J. Lohr’s sustainably farmed estate vineyards in Monterey County and Paso Robles, California. The wines are fermented, barrel aged and then undergo a proprietary alcohol-removal process. Both contain less than 0.5% alcohol by volume.
