Released in April 2025, this whiskey was crafted with two parts: the first, a straight rye whiskey that was aged "up to" seven years before being finished for a full year in French oak extra añejo tequila barrels. The second, an 11-year-old rye whiskey.
Creamy and seductive on the fade-out — though still ringed with an edge of that pepper and spice — it’s as big and bold an adventure I’ve encountered in the world of rye in recent memory.
