Amrut Kurinji is an unpeated Indian single malt whisky bottled at 46% ABV in 750ml format. Part of the Single Malts of India range, it is sourced from the hills of South India and named after the Kurinji flower, which blooms once every 12 years. This release retails for around $115.
There’s pear and white grape macerated in dessert wine on the palate, with ground ginger, salted caramel, and milk chocolate. The finish offers vanilla pod, forest honey, fruit skins, and malted milk.
