Distilled in downtown Los Angeles, Amass Dry Gin is made from a corn base spirit and bottled at 45% ABV. It features 29 botanicals, 11 of which are sourced from California, including California bay leaf, cascara sagrada, hibiscus, cardamom, cacao and ginger. Other ingredients include juniper, coriander, cedar berries and bark, rosemary, angelica, orris root, cassia, fennel, licorice, cubeb, fresh lemon peel, fresh grapefruit peel, bitter orange peel, dried lemon peel, lion’s mane mushroom, reishi mushroom, clove, nutmeg, ashwagandha, sarsaparilla, long pepper, grains of paradise and lime leaf. The gin comes in a 750ml bottle priced at about $39.99.

  • Yet somehow, it all comes together: the opening salvo is spicy and bold with anise, pepper, and clove, before moving to a waxy lemon peel and juniper midpalate and finishing dry and dusty with suggestions of cocoa powder, coriander, and spicy grains of paradise.
