Aberfeldy 16 Year Old is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky produced by Aberfeldy Distillery in Perthshire, Scotland. Made from 100% malted barley, the whisky is fermented for 70 hours in washbacks, matured in a combination of first-fill, refill and recharred ex-bourbon casks, and finished for six months in first-fill Oloroso sherry casks. It is bottled at 40% ABV and typically retails for $95 to $115.

  • This whisky is mild and the palate is a smooth transition from the nose. Honey sweet, or possibly toffee apples are the flavours I taste first and foremost, with lighter oak spice. It comes together wonderfully.
