  • Nose:

    Anise, pipe tobacco, red berries, Red Vines, toffee and a touch of old parchment and potpourri.

  • Taste:

    Medium mouthfeel. Spicy and savory, loaded with pepper, floral notes, anise, red berries, a touch of date fruit, strawberries and cream and a touch of vanilla bean.

  • Finish:

    Long finish. This is where this pour shines, delivering rich baking spice, date fruit, tobacco and raisin bread. Fudge, cocoa, blackberry and a touch of creme brulee carry long and far.

  • Overall:

    Overall, this is proof that Aberfeldy can deliver what Scotch fans are asking for when they put their minds to it - tons of complexity, real cask influence and no shortage of flavor. Keep it up, Aberfeldy.
