Released in April 2025, this is a bourbon from 2XO Whiskey, the brand founded by Dixon Dedman, the whiskey blender who revived Kentucky Owl before eventually selling it to Stoli. The name "2XO" stands for "two times the oak": a reference to the fact that each 2XO release is double-oaked. The name of this whiskey refers to Dedman's memories of listening to vinyl albums growing up at his parents house. As for the whiskey itself, this is a blend of two mashbills — one with 35% rye in its mashbill and the other with 18%. The higher-rye mashbill was finished for 9-12 months in #4 new charred oak barrels. The double-barreled char #4 high-rye mashbill makes up 40% of the blend. The remainder of the blend is unfinished: 30% of each mashbill. This bottle has a suggested retail price of $99.99.
