  • Nose:

Rich, decadent nose with big-time sweet cream and custard, plus caramel, apple peel and banana.

  • Taste:

Moderate mouthfeel. This whiskey delivers a rich, confectionary palate balanced by bitter tannin. Lots of marshmallow fluff here, plus oak, butterscotch, salted caramel and some red fruit character that almost reads like a red wine finish.

  • Finish:

    Tannin, cherry candies, anise, brownie.

  • Overall:

A nicely balanced, rich, delicious whiskey. 15 STARS continues to excel.

  • Score:

    90
