Zayn Malik Becomes Chief Creative Officer and Co-Owner of Alcohol-Free Cocktail Brand

Zayn Malik, a former member of One Direction, has entered the drinks business by joining alcohol-free drinks brand Mixoloshe as the chief creative officer and co-owner. Promoting this new venture, Malik released a flavored mocktail of his own, a lychee martini, to the brand’s range.
“The non-alcoholic beverage market is ready for disruption,” Malik said, according to PEOPLE.
“We see consumers already shifting preferences towards healthier and alcohol-free alternatives, which provides an opportunity for a brand like Mixoloshe to redefine this industry.”

According to the Mixoloshe, Malik’s lychee martini is described as “sweet, floral and slightly tropical” and spotlights real ingredients, all while delivering a boozy aroma without any alcohol. Furthermore, the new drink comes in a unique can design inspired by Malik’s tattoos.
“I could not be more excited about the chance to make some noise in the category of non-alcoholic beverages,” Malik continued, per the report. “And build one of the most talked-about drinks in the world.”
A four-pack of Mixoloshe drinks, including the lychee martini, can now be purchased at Walmart for $10, or opt for a 12-pack, which is available exclusively online through Walmart, Amazon and the Mixoloshe website for $35.
Mixoloshe offers a variety of other canned non-alcoholic cocktails, including options like a tropical smoky margarita and blueberry gin and tonic. Additionally, the brand sells alcohol-free versions of tequila, gin and whiskey.
