SKYY Vodka, one of the biggest names in the American spirits industry, is tossing its hat into the fast-growing canned cocktail market.

Capitalizing on the zeitgeist, the brand has debuted citrus-tinged Lemon & Elderflower and Lime & Mint soda flavors, canned at 4% ABV and containing 90 calories per cocktail. The new beverages are the latest addition to Italian spirits company Gruppo Campari’s massive portfolio, which includes recognizable brands like Aperol, Espolon, Wild Turkey and more.

“Since its inception, SKYY has been dedicated to crafting the most exquisite vodka possible. This commitment extends seamlessly to our carefully curated canned cocktails,” said Mark Watson, Senior Category Director at Campari America.

“We’re convinced this attention to detail has been worth the wait, and we’re excited for consumers to taste the difference in our new SKYY Vodka & Soda ready-to-drink cocktails now available in a convenient can.”

While the 2010s were dominated by hard seltzer brands like White Claw and Truly, the 2020s have introduced a new generation of spirits-based ready-to-drink (RTD) cocktails. According to market projections, the category is expected to reach a value of $2.3 billion by 2030.

At the front of the pack is an avalanche of vodka pre-mixed drinks. This week alone, both Kylie Jenner and Dan Akroyd debuted respective vodka RTD brands, which will be placed on crowded liquor store shelves alongside the likes of High Noon, Nutrl, Cutwater and more.

If you’re interested in tasting SKYY’s latest twist on the concept, they can be picked up here at $10.99 per 4-pack.
