Casa Azul announced that 200 patrons who visit the Playa Bar on Sept. 8 will receive branded koozies on a first come, first serve basis.

The tequila soda brand additionally shared that during two home games against the Jacksonville Jaguars and New York Jets on September and December 8, Casa Azul would be giving away surfboards and other swag.

More About Casa Azul Tequila Sodas

Casa Azul is a tequila soda line, with five expressions that clock in at about 5% ABV. The sodas come in the following flavors: lime margarita, grapefruit, peach mango, watermelon and strawberry margarita.

The sodas are made with real tequila from Jalisco, Mexico and sparkling water, according to the brand. Casa Azul shares natural fruit flavors are added, in conjunction with agave nectar.

The tequila soda brand launched in August 2022, and in February 2023, Travis Kelce got on board by investing an equity stake in Casa Azul Tequila.

Casa Azul did find itself in the midst of a court battle with the famous Clase Azul brand. Clase Azul is known for its signature blue and white ceramic decanters and luxury tequilas.

Eventually, the brand settled the lawsuit in April, and a judge ruled in favor of Casa Azul, claiming that the name was not exactly what set the Clase Azul brand apart. What set the Clase Azul brand apart from other tequila brands, however, was the brand’s artful ceramic decanters.

Casa Azul attracted another high-profile investor in June when Rob Gronkowski signed on as an investor and partner. Gronkowski donated an unknown sum.
