On Monday, BuzzBallz added a new flavor to its ready-to-drink cocktail lineup with the release of Grapes Gone Wild, now rolling out nationwide in multiple sizes.

The launch includes a promotional tie-in with rapper and comedian Lil Dicky, who stars in a retro-themed campaign featuring infomercial-style skits and workout-inspired humor.

To mark the release, BuzzBallz is also offering a limited-edition collectible called KettleBallz, a grape-scented, kettlebell-shaped container modeled after the brand’s “Biggie” 1.5-liter size. The item weighs five pounds and can hold up to 1.5 liters of the new flavor. Kits will be sold for $20 and will come with the container, sweatbands, wristbands and a cooling towel. Alcohol is not included.

The KettleBallz kit becomes available Oct. 3 through a limited release, with sign-ups open until Sept. 28 at buzzballzkettleballz.com.

“BuzzBallz knows how to have fun with bold flavors and unexpected launches and Grapes Gone Wild is no exception,” Jess Scheerhorn, BuzzBallz vice president at Sazerac, said in a news release. “What’s more unexpected than a kettlebell you can sip?”

The new flavor is available in 187-milliliter, 200-milliliter, 1.5-liter and 1.75-liter formats. A nationwide marketing push, including the Lil Dicky-led campaign, supports the rollout.

“I just got hip to BuzzBallz and I can’t believe it’s taken me this long,” Lil Dicky said. “As soon as I took my first sip, I knew I was super down to collaborate. The ‘80s workout vibe was the perfect playground to go all-in on something loud and over the top for Grapes Gone Wild.”

BuzzBallz, founded in 2009, produces single-serve cocktails in round containers and offers more than a dozen flavors. The brand is based in Carrollton, Texas, and owned by Sazerac.
