No.3 London Dry Gin has officially announced the commencement of submissions for its global cocktail competition, the 2024 Unrivalled Classics. Embracing an expanded international reach, this competition beckons professional bartenders from the United Kingdom, Italy, Germany, Spain and, for the first time, the United States.

“With the Unrivalled Classics competition, we are inviting entries from more markets than ever before,” said Ross Bryant, global brand ambassador for No.3 Gin, in a Drinks International report. “I can’t wait to see the talent and skill later in the year as the competition shines a light on the best of the best in our industry.”

A distinctive feature of this edition is the grand prize, which grants the winner the opportunity to take over the 48th spot on the World’s 50 Best Bar List 2023, located at the Atlas Bar in Singapore. Complementing this accolade is a multicourse dinner experience at the Michelin-starred Burnt Ends, complete with curated No.3 Gin cocktails.

This year, the Unrivalled Classics competition will draw inspiration from the Gimlet. Entrants are challenged to craft their own interpretations of the classic gin drink, showcasing their creativity and skill.

The competition unfolds in a multi-tiered process, with regional and national heats determining the finalists. The finalist from each country will win an all-expenses-paid trip to the No.3 Gin distillery in Schiedam for the Global Final in September 2024.

The criteria for submission include a recipe featuring a minimum of 40 ml of No.3 Gin, the inclusion of no more than six ingredients (excluding garnishes, which are exempt from the total count) and the allowance of up to two homemade ingredients.

Dive into the complete set of instructions for participation by visiting the 2024 Unrivalled Classics sign-up page here. Secure your spot in the competition by registering before the March 12 deadline.
