Mixly Cocktail Co. has recently unveiled the latest addition to its range of handcrafted cocktail mixers, the Bunny Mary. Spotlighting sweet carrots and savory dill, the mix is designed to pair well with gin, tequila or vodka.

“Savory cocktails and drinks are very on trend right now, and the most classic savory drink of all is the Bloody Mary,” said Johnna Rossbach, founder and president of Mixly Cocktail Co., in a press release. “We reimagined and elevated this classic cocktail, lovingly called the Bunny Mary because we use fresh carrot juice. It’s savory yet refreshing.”

“While it makes a delightful cocktail with vodka or gin, it’s really a unique mocktail. Most mocktails are fruit forward, so we’re bringing a unique offering to those looking for a non alcoholic, savory drink. We’re so excited to bring this new flavor to consumers, and I won’t be surprised to see this as the new go-to brunch drink.”

Crafted with natural ingredients, such as fresh-squeezed lemon juice and all-natural honey, Bunny Mary offers mixology versatility. Simply combine two parts Bunny Mary with one part liquor, or blend it with soda water. For those who enjoy a bit of heat, Bunny Mary can be elevated with a dash or two of your preferred hot sauce.

We tried out Bunny Mary for ourselves and found that its tangy, citrusy and subtly sweet profile pairs perfectly with savory and dry gins. For the ideal juniper-lover serve, we recommend shaking up this cocktail mixer with options like Gin Mare, Bombay Sapphire, Freeland Spirits Forest Gin, Gray Whale Gin or Hendrick’s Neptunia. When in doubt, reach for your favorite classic London dry. For garnishes, we loved how fresh dill, pearl onions and lemon wedges complemented Bunny Mary’s light and fresh taste.

Find Bunny Mary through Mixly’s online shop, priced at $20. Each 16-ounce bottle yields approximately six cocktails.
