The Daily Pour and Mi Campo Are Looking for the Best Tequila Cocktails NYC Bartenders Have to Offer

live louder showcase

The Daily Pour and Mi Campo Tequila are launching the Live Louder Showcase, a curated series featuring eight original Mi Campo cocktail creations from New York bartenders across The Daily Pour’s editorial, social and newsletter channels — and live at Arte Agave NYC this October.

Submissions open June 1.

How It Works

Bartenders working anywhere in New York State are invited to create an original cocktail built around Mi Campo Tequila and submit a short video of themselves making it at their bar. The video should feel like your bar feels — the energy of your space, not a studio setup. Along with the video, bartenders submit their recipe and a brief note on the story behind the drink.

Once entries have been submitted, eight cocktails will be featured as part of the Mi Campo Live Louder Showcase. From there, featured cocktails and the stories behind them will be spotlighted across social and editorial. In October, the featured cocktails and the bartenders behind them will be showcased live at Arte Agave NYC — one of the country’s premier agave festivals, drawing 2,000-plus attendees on Oct. 1 and 2.

Reach across the full series spans more than 1 million viewers across social media and TheDailyPour.com, along with 100,000-plus newsletter subscribers.

What We’re Looking For

The theme is Mi Campo’s Live Louder ethos — drinks that show a point of view, technique that takes some nerve, ingredients that weren’t the obvious call. Mi Campo is 100% Blue Weber Agave tequila, and the spirit should be treated as a centerpiece ingredient. Minimum 1.5 ounces of Blanco or Reposado, five ingredients max (bitters and tinctures don’t count toward that total), original recipes only.

Beyond the drink itself, the showcase is about the people making them. Bartender personality on camera, the atmosphere of the bar and the story behind the drink will all be featured. Cocktails that are visually striking — thoughtful glassware, color, garnish — tend to translate better to content, so consider how the drink looks on screen.

A few additional guidelines: full-sized cocktails only, no shots. Homemade components need to be reasonably reproducible. Sous-vide, vacuum sealing and CO2 or N2 infusions are fair game, but rotovaps are not. All allergens must be identified in the submission.

Timeline

Submissions open June 1 and close Aug. 1. The eight featured cocktails will be announced in early August, with the spotlight series rolling out through mid-September. Arte Agave NYC takes place Oct. 1 and 2.
