Italian gin producer Mintis has introduced a specialized cocktail glass crafted to elevate the gin and tonic drinking experience. Made with the spring and summer seasons in mind, the glass is embellished with mint leaves. According to The Spirits Business, this design element also reflects the gin’s natural ingredients and “minty freshness.”

“We would like to enhance the experience of the freshness of mint gin for customers, so we created a special glass to make the aroma of Italian mint and fruit stand out even more,” said Mintis Gin Co-Founder Stepan Stanek, per the report.

Mintis Gin debuted in 2021 with a portfolio comprising four expressions: Originale, Amarena Cherry, Blackcurrant and Clementine. Hand distilled at a family-operated distillery in Piemont, Italy, the entire range prominently features Pancalieri mint, considered one of the world’s best mint varietals, as a key botanical.

For a perfect Italian G&T, Mintis Gin suggests pairing its blackcurrant expression with Sanpellegrino tonic.

Following its release, the brand swiftly earned numerous gold accolades at prestigious competitions such as the World Gin Awards and Global Gin Masters. The blackcurrant variant claimed the title of “Best Italian Flavored,” while the flagship expression was honored as the “Best Italian Signature Botanical” in the same year.

Priced at about $34 per 750-ml bottle, Mintis Gin is available in over 30 countries, including the U.S., U.K., Ukraine, Denmark and Croatia.
