Top gin brand Bombay Sapphire has recently unveiled a cocktail kit designed to help you conveniently craft what is being deemed “TikTok’s unofficial drink of 2024,” the French 75.

“New year means new trends and TikTok has just named its unofficial drink of 2024 – the French 75,” the brand shared. “Amassing more than 1 million views, TikTok is exiling the Lemon Drop and Espresso Martini for the brighter, effervescent French 75 and shows that users are ready for a change and looking forward to more celebratory occasions in 2024.”

The French 75, a classic cocktail, elegantly blends gin, champagne, lemon juice and a touch of simple syrup. Originating during World War I, its name pays homage to the potent French 75mm field gun. Its citrusy notes and bubbly character make it a timeless favorite, ideal for celebrations or a refined evening. Whether served in a flute or a highball glass, the French 75 continues to be a symbol of timeless elegance in the world of mixology.

Beyond being a delightful libation, the French 75 has also inspired the creation of an elegant ball gown as part of Bombay Sapphire’s recent collaboration with fashion maestro Christian Siriano. The collaboration stands as part of the brand’s ongoing “Saw This, Made This” campaign, which aims to encourage people to find inspiration in the world around them. Now, Bombay Sapphire has extended this concept with the release of its Bombay Sapphire x Christian Siriano Cocktail Couture Kit, which includes:

  • 1 750-ml bottle of Martini Prosecco
  • 1 750-ml bottle of Bombay Sapphire Gin
  • 2 Martini Glasses
  • 2 lemons
  • 1 lemon peeler
  • 1 simple syrup
  • 1 print-out cocktail card

Priced at $75, find Bombay Sapphire’s new French 75 kit here.

In December, Siriano and Bombay Sapphire debuted a capsule collection featuring the Martini Clutch, Bombay Sapphire & Tonic Blouse and the Ultimate Collins Blazer. Each item is now available for purchase through ChristianSiriano.com. All proceeds generated from the sales of the capsule collection will be donated to GLAAD, a non-profit organization dedicated to LGBTQ advocacy and cultural change by striving for fair, accurate and inclusive representation.
