‘He Was Sipping on Gin and Juice’: Police Looking for Man Who Allegedly Stole 4-Foot-Tall Snoop Dogg Bobblehead From Liquor Store

In North Carolina, the Hickory Police Department is investigating the alleged theft of a 4-foot-tall Snoop Dogg bobblehead from a local liquor store.

According to the police, the suspect was caught on surveillance camera taking the bobblehead, which was positioned in front of several cases of beer. These large Snoop Dogg figures serve as promotional displays for Corona Beer, with similar items found reselling for upwards of $1,500 on eBay. The bobblehead that was reported stolen in Hickory appears to be the one where the “Gin and Juice” rapper is donning a blue bathrobe with white socks and Corona-branded slides.

The event has garnered quite the attention on social media, with people sharing their own cheeky comments and reactions. Some individuals expressed envy and amusement at the audacious act, while others were not willing to assist in identifying the thief.

One Facebook user wrote: “I think as a collective group we let this one slide ? and don’t find him, but maybe come back and pay at least for it.”

Another added, “I honestly have thought about it myself.”

“He was sipping on gin and juice,” a third wrote, in a nod to the rapper’s hit song.

Anyone with information about the missing Snoop Dogg bobblehead is urged to contact the Hickory Police Department at 828-328-5551, per the post.

Curiously enough, this doesn’t mark the first time a Corona Beer promotional Snoop Dogg bobblehead has gone missing. In December 2022, a Detroit liquor store informed the police that its own figurine was stolen after multiple customers had expressed a desire to purchase it for themselves.

In late September, Snoop Dogg revealed in an interview with Tiffany Hadish that he doesn’t drink any of the alcohol brands he’s professionally associated with. While he didn’t mention any specifically by name, booze brands the rapper has promoted include Indoggo Gin, 19 Crimes Wine, Happy Dad Hard Seltzer and St. Ides Beer.
