Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg have reunited to launch a new line of alcoholic beverages called “Gin & Juice,” taking inspiration from their classic hit song of the same name.

“Look where we’re at in our careers,” Snoop Dogg shared in a press release. “Look at our age and look at what we’ve done, and we still love each other, so why not do something together?”

“A lot of times people have been in a relationship for thirty years and can’t talk to each other, can’t hang out, so it’s just fun to be in a partnership with people that you actually love.”

The drink brand’s announcement, accompanied by a cinematic trailer reminiscent of Quentin Tarantino’s “Pulp Fiction,” introduces a range of four 5.9%-ABV flavors: Apricot, Citrus, Melon and Passionfruit.

“Together, we always try to create magic, we’re having fun being creative, and everything about this product is really us,” Dr. Dre added.

“There’s passion behind it, and friendship and love and a culture. We’re shooting to make everything we do magnificent, and fortunately, most of the time we hit the target.”

Hip Hop DX reported that Defiant Ones, LLC, a company sharing a name with the 2017 mini-series about Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine, filed trademarks for “Gin & Juice” last year. This entity also laid claim to “Vodka & Juice by Dre and Snoop,” hinting at a potential expansion of their beverage portfolio.

Besides their entrepreneurial endeavors, Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg are actively involved in a new collaborative musical project called “Missionary.” Snoop Dogg shared insights on their studio sessions during an interview on All the Smoke, highlighting Dr. Dre’s meticulous nature and perfectionism that occasionally prolonged recording timelines. Snoop Dogg additionally praised Dr. Dre’s transformative growth in the interview, commending how he adeptly treats Snoop’s voice “like an instrument.”

The pair’s musical partnership began in the early ’90s with the iconic album “The Chronic.” Notably, they collaborated on Snoop’s debut, “Doggystyle,” released in 1993. One standout from “Doggystyle” is the classic West Coast hip-hop track “Gin & Juice,” epitomizing the carefree vibe of leisure, parties, and indulgence. Its G-funk sound and catchy melody represent the era’s hip-hop scene.
