Small-batch Oxfordshire gin distillery Sky Wave has recently unveiled a new brand identity, ushered in by a bottle redesign that pays homage to a bygone era filled with “elegance and adventure.”
“Crafting exceptional spirits is not just a passion; it’s an art form where every drop tells a unique story,” said Andrew Parsons, Sky Wave co-founder and master distiller, in a press release.
“With our new look, we’re not just reimagining a bottle, we’re reshaping the narrative of Sky Wave. This transformation symbolises the exciting journey upon which Sky Wave is embarking —a global mission to bring our exceptional gin to enthusiasts all over the world. We’re set to create a new chapter in the world of gin, one that blends tradition with innovation and takes our brand to the hearts and glasses of discerning individuals worldwide.”
Over the years, Sky Wave has persistently devoted itself to the art of crafting juniper spirits, leading to a large collection of award-winning gins. Its flagship, the Sky Wave Signature London Dry Gin, not only claimed the title of “The World’s Best Contemporary London Dry Gin” at the World Gin Awards but also secured 2 stars from the Great Taste Awards. This gin also found its place in the Master category at the Gin Masters, in addition to earning an array of international accolades, including Double Gold, Gold, and Silver medals, including a Silver award at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
The new Sky Wave bottle will be made available to trade customers starting on October 30 through Master of Malt, Inn Express and The Craft Drink Co.
In addition to its range of award-winning gins, Sky Wave now offers Sky Wave Zero, an alcohol-free spirit alternative.
“We know that there are times when you want to enjoy the experience of drinking a gin and tonic but you don’t want the alcohol,” Parsons added. “I worked hard to create a great-tasting, premium alcohol-free alternative to sit alongside our existing range. I selected high-quality ingredients including three citruses and fresh ginger, to create a journey through zesty bursts with hints of savoury and sweetness culminating in a twist of warmth.”
