Ramsbury Distillery Adds Fan-Favorite Raspberry & Wildflower Honey Gin to Permanent Portfolio

Months after unveiling the expression as a limited drop, Ramsbury Distillery is adding Raspberry & Wildflower Honey Gin to its permanent portfolio.
The seasonal favorite was initially launched last spring, when General Manager Nik Fordham says inspiration swelled from “within the landscape, with bees leading [him] to the thought of Wildflower Honey.” Nearly a year later, the environmentally conscious distillery says that it has “worked tirelessly” to ensure its ingredients can be sustainability sourced and distilled year round.
Like all of Ramsbury’s products, the spirit begins life as winter wheat grown on the brand’s estate in Wiltshire, England. After being distilled into vodka, the spirit is transformed into a London dry gin thanks to the infusion of juniper, coriander, cardamom, bitter almond and a variety of other botanicals. Last but not least, the blend is mixed with fresh raspberry juice and locally sourced honey made by bees that collect nectar on the estate.
Ramsbury says that the spirit — bottled at 38% ABV — leans tart and juicy, balancing the honey’s earthy sweetness with gobs of fresh fruit flavor.
Ramsbury Estates began life in 2004, comprised of over 19,000 acres located in northeast Wiltshire, West Berkshire and North Hampshire, England. Vast fields of barley share the landscape with Norway Spruce woodlands and the Kennet River, home to wildlife including otters, water voles, grey herons and brown trout.
The estate opened the doors to a brewery in 2004 and a distillery in 2014. In addition to gin, guests can buy a variety of IPAs, single estate vodkas, canned cocktails, truffles and caramels.
The distillery’s new Raspberry & Wildflower Honey Gin can be ordered online at £36 ($45) per bottle.
