Spirit Giant Pernod Ricard Unveils Beefeater 0.0%, the First Alcohol-Free Addition to its Global Portfolio

On Wednesday, Pernod Ricard unveiled a significant addition to its beverage lineup with the launch of Beefeater 0.0%. As reported by The Spirits Business, this release marks the inaugural alcohol-free line extension in the spirit giant’s global portfolio.

Inspired by Beefeater London Dry Gin, the new non-alcoholic offering promises the same citrusy and juniper-forward taste as the full-proof original, Pernod Ricard expressed in a press release. This is accomplished by infusing the brand’s traditional botanicals into Beefeater 0.0%’s base.

Murielle Dessenis, serving as the Global Vice President of Marketing for Gins at The Absolut Group, expressed pride in delivering an “elevated option” within the non-alcoholic category.

“We are proud to be bringing to the no-alcohol category an elevated option, removing the need for consumers to compromise or miss out on the occasion,” Dessenis said in the press release. “Beefeater 0.0% is our very first zero alcohol expression, which captures the energy of our timeless London classic but without the alcohol.”

This launch underscores Pernod Ricard’s commitment to meeting the evolving preferences of consumers seeking alternatives to its beverage choices. As pioneers in the segment since the introduction of Pacific in 1982, according to the French firm, Pernod Ricard aims to establish itself as a prominent player in the no-alcohol industry.

Beefeater 0.0% is poised to make its official debut in Spain.
