Major League Pickleball Names The Botanist Its Official Gin Partner

Major League Pickleball (MLP) has unveiled a multi-year partnership with Bruichladdich Distillery’s The Botanist Islay Dry Gin, designating the popular booze brand as the league’s official gin partner.
“We are thrilled to announce that The Botanist is now the Official Gin Partner of Major League Pickleball,” said Nicolas Beckers, CEO and president of Rémy Cointreau Americas, in a press release.
“The game of pickleball is quickly gaining popularity amongst Americans who love to explore innovative things and set new trends. We’re excited to introduce the complex, delicate taste of The Botanist to the MLP community and invite them to try our unique spirit.”
The Botanist is poised to bring its Scottish spirit to the world of pickleball. This collaboration will feature exclusive brand showcases, opportunities for sampling the gin and the offering of signature cocktails courtside at forthcoming MLP events. The debut of this venture is set for the upcoming MLP Dallas event, scheduled to take place from November 2 to 5 at the Brookhaven Country Club.
The Botanist’s alliance with MLP also represents a continuation of the brand’s commitment to pickleball, complementing its ongoing partnership with the vibrant racquet sports community, Break the Love.
“As we move toward the next exciting phase for MLP, we are committed to adding strong partners to build with us,” MLP’s Chief Operating Officer Bruce Popko shared, per the press release. “The Botanist is dedicated and discerning in supporting the sports community, and our partnership illustrates MLP’s growing footprint in the professional sports landscape.”
The Botanist Islay Dry Gin, crafted at the Bruichladdich Distillery on Islay, a remote Scottish island, stands as the first and only Islay Dry Gin. In 2020, Bruichladdich Distillery became a B Corp-certified business. Distilled with 22 locally foraged and sustainable Islay botanicals, the gin stands as a testament to using business as a positive force, aligning people and the planet with profits.
Earlier this month, emerging gin brand Mr. Pickles was named the official spirit sponsor of the 2023 Biofreeze USA Pickleball National Championships, marking another unique pickleball and gin collaboration.
