Erbe, an Italian gin brand, has officially made its debut with Erbe Lime & Sage. The inaugural expression is crafted with spring water from the Italian Alps, a blend of 14 botanicals and (as its name suggests) lime and sage, which were sourced from Piedmont and Sicily.
The new gin has already received recognition, having been awarded a Gold medal at The Spirits Business’ Global Gin Masters in 2023 within the “Ultra Premium” category.
“Although still young, I have had a great passion for drinks and hospitality for a long time,” shared Erbe Founder and CEO, Gerbe Suttels. “Now, I find myself working alongside my parents at our restaurant, embracing the roles of manager and bartender. What truly brings me joy is surprising our guests with unique and delightful drinks.”
Combining his love for Italy and mixology, Suttels created Erbe, deriving its name from a combination of his own name and the Italian word for herbs. According to the brand, Erbe Gin seeks to capture the essence of Italy, paying homage to its picturesque landscapes, remarkable wines and culinary treasures.
Erbe Lime & Sage is now available for purchase through the brand’s official website, priced at €47 ($52.02) per 500ml hand-numbered bottle.
