In a strategic move to bolster its international presence, acclaimed Australian gin brand Four Pillars has made key appointments to its international leadership team. As reported by Food Mag on Thursday, the newly established leaders are set to play pivotal roles in expanding the brand’s footprint across the globe.
The international team, under the guidance of David Hogan, Four Pillars GTR & International Director, is optimistic about the brand’s trajectory in 2024.
Heading the Asian operations is Karan Tuli, formerly associated with William Grant & Sons, where he spearheaded customer marketing for a diverse global brand portfolio. With a track record of propelling the growth of renowned labels like Hendrick’s Gin and Bombay Sapphire, Tuli brings valuable insights to navigate the Four Pillars through the dynamic Asian market.
“It’s an exciting time to join the Four Pillars team as we continue to see strong growth in the Asia region,” Tuli shared, per Food Mag. “I look forward to working with our key partners in Asia across both the GTR and domestic channels.”
Ellie Nash, a seasoned professional with experience at Bacardi, assumes the role of Head of EMEA (Europe, the Middle East and Africa). Nash’s focus centers on fortifying distribution networks in Western Europe, following the brand’s triumph at the IWSC awards and its prestigious recognition as the 2024 Gin of the Year by the Whisky Exchange.
“I look forward to building on the momentum of 2023,” Nash added in the report. “After winning at the IWSC awards, we were named 2024 Gin of the Year by the Whisky Exchange.”
“This year I’ll be heavily focused on widening our distribution in Western Europe, and I’m eager to take our amazing gin to new consumers across the continent.”
Meanwhile, Jen Bailey, a member of the Four Pillars team for over eight years, now spearheads operations in the Americas. With a multifaceted background encompassing media, trade marketing and export management, Bailey is poised to implement innovative strategies to strengthen the brand’s presence in the Americas.
“From engaging with trade at in-person events and experiences to creative partnerships, and engaging the Australian expat community, we’re keen to generate a broad range of new and innovative activity in the region,” Bailey explained, according to Food Mag.
