Erbe Gin Partners With ‘One of Italy’s Finest Bakeries’ on Boozy Panettone

Two Italian businesses collide in a limited-edition panettone infused with lime and sage gin.

In a festive intersection between juniper spirits and holiday sweet bread, Erbe Gin has joined forces with Gusto Madre Bakery to introduce a limited-edition panettone infused with booze.

“Indulge in the epitome of Italian craftsmanship with our exclusive Limited Edition Dried Lime and White Chocolate Panettone,” Erbe Gin shared. “This exquisite creation is a collaboration with one of Italy’s finest bakeries, renowned for their dedication to perfection.”

According to the Italian gin brand, the panettone promises a unique presentation of Italian flavors with its blend of white chocolate and zesty
dried lime. For an “ideal pairing,” Erbe Gin suggests enjoying the baked good with its flagship Lime & Sage gin.

“Erbe Gin has always stood for craftsmanship and excellence, and partnering with Gusto Madre allows us to extend that commitment into the culinary realm,” said Erbe Gin Founder Gerbe Suttels, per The Spirits Business. “This limited edition panettone is a unique expression of Italian flavours, creating a memorable experience for our customers during the festive season.”

Priced at €38 ($41.47), the Dried Lime and White Chocolate Panettone is available for purchase from Erbe Gin’s online store.

Erbe Gin Debuted in June 2023 and aims to capture the essence of Italy, paying homage to its landscapes, wines and cuisine with its offerings. The brand’s inaugural gin is crafted with spring water from the Italian Alps and a blend of 14 botanicals, including lime and sage sourced from Piedmont and Sicily.

Panettone, a classic Italian sweet bread hailing from Milan, is characterized by its airy texture and blend of butter and candied fruits. During the holiday season, its iconic dome shape graces tables worldwide, making it a symbol of Christmas and New Year’s celebrations.
