Renais, the gin brand founded by Emma Watson and her brother, is set to make its mark in the United States in 2024 through an exclusive five-year partnership with the Republic National Distributing Company (RNDC), The Spirits Business reported Friday.
“Our US launch is just the beginning of an exciting journey,” Renaid Co-Founder Alex Watson said, per the report.
“The traction we’ve gained in Europe is a solid foundation for exploring the expansive US market for high-end gin. We’re thrilled to collaborate with RNDC, whose reputation and wide reach will undoubtedly elevate Renais.”
The U.S. launch, scheduled for spring 2024, will see Renais featured prominently in RNDC’s Regency portfolio, a move aimed at rapidly establishing the brand’s presence across multiple states. According to the brand, this approach is expected to propel Renais into becoming a household name in the region, marking a significant turning point in its journey.
“Renais Gin is a unique blend of innovation and tradition, aligning perfectly with our vision at RNDC,” added David Lane, chief supplier and growth officer at RNDC, The Spirits Business reported.
“We are excited to play a pivotal role in introducing Renais to the American market and are confident in its potential to redefine luxury gin across the nation.”
Debuted in May, Renais Gin draws inspiration from the Chablis vineyards where the Watson family has been making wine for the past 30 years. The spirit offers a blend of repurposed pressed grand cru grapes, juniper berries, Kimmeridgian stone, linden flowers, acacia honey, cubeb berries and rock salt.
In November, Renais released a limited-edition bottling that featured artwork created by Emma Watson.
