Arte Agave, the popular traveling festival for tequila and Mezcal hosted by Bottle Raiders, made a pit stop in New York City on Sept. 13.
In a sold-out event, New Yorkers enjoyed authentic Mexican cuisine in the city’s ultra-trendy Bowery Hotel. On Bottle Raiders’ Instagram, we documented the event, which can be viewed below:

Celebrity-owned brands like Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul’s Dos Hombres Mezcal appeared, and Mazarte Dance Company dazzled guests with incredible performances celebrating Mexico’s rich cultural heritage.
Those lucky enough to be in attendance dined on Tacos de Cochinita Pibil and Tacos de Short Rib con Mole from Ruta Oaxaca.

Su Casa Mezcal kept things nice and cool with its ice luge at Arte Agave.
There was even an ice luge from Su Casa Mezcal, and Ilegal Mezcal gave out permanent souvenirs — tattoos.
Afterward, the crowd danced all night long to live music by Mariachi Sol Azteca and more. Drinking tequila naturally strikes up an appetite, but bellies were full. Arte Agave New York had a taco bar, and adventurous guests could dine on Chapulines, a delicacy made from grasshoppers, from Merci Mercado.
Those looking to pick up an edible souvenir could purchase gifts from Dark Matter Coffee and Sleepwalk Chocolate.

Guests could purchase authentic Mexican coffee from Dark Matter Coffee.
Yet, we all know that Arte Agave is where the spirits are the star of the show, and over 30 brands made an appearance, making it a true spirits aficionado’s paradise.
Below is a list of every tequila and mezcal brand at the event.

A Big Year for Bottle Raiders
2024 is shaping up to be a monumental year for Bottle Raiders. The company owned by Dan Abrams purchased Whiskey Washback and Arte Agave in May, with plans to host these traveling spirits festivals throughout the year.
In September, Bottle Raiders launched its very own proprietary app for spirits enthusiasts.
The app is powered by AI and hosts a scanning feature and image processing so users can scan bottles in real-time and have access to potentially hundreds of reviews.
It’s like having a world-class spirits critic right in your pocket.
Whiskey Washback — Arte Agave’s Sister Event
If agave isn’t your jam — don’t fret. Bottle Raiders additionally hosts Whiskey Washback, Arte Agave’s sister event.
Fans of scotch, bourbon, rye and more can enjoy this traveling whiskey festival and taste rare offerings from stellar brands like Four Roses, Michter’s and more.
Best of all? Whiskey Washback is for a good cause. A portion of the proceeds go to Nadia’s Hope Equine Rescue, an organization that rehabilitates neglected and abused horses.
