Pumpkin Inferno Margarita

About This Cocktail

The Pumpkin Inferno Margarita turns fall’s cozy sweetness on its head, blending tequila, pumpkin spice and a flicker of habanero heat into one devilishly inviting pour.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz reposado tequila
  • 1 oz pumpkin spice syrup (see below for recipe)
  • ¾ oz fresh lime juice
  • 3 dash habanero bitters (adjust to heat tolerance)

Instructions

  1. Add tequila, pumpkin spice syrup, lime juice and habanero bitters to a shaker with ice.
  2. Shake vigorously for 10-12 seconds until chilled.
  3. Strain into a rocks glass over ice.
  4. Garnish with a cinnamon stick.

Homemade Pumpkin Spice Syrup

Ingredients

  • ½ cup pumpkin purée
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice

Instructions

  1. Combine all of the ingredients into a sauce pan.
  2. Simmer gently for 10 minutes, stirring until smooth and sugar is dissolved.
  3. Chill and refrigerate, keeps 1 week.
