Forget the Irish Car Bomb: Whiskey Cocktails for Your St. Paddy’s Day Celebration
St. Patrick’s Day is finally here, and we have the perfect cocktails to keep the party going all day and night.
Dublin Apple
What you’ll need:
- 1 oz Jameson Irish Whiskey
- 1 1/2 oz Smirnoff Sour Apple Vodka
- 3 1/2 oz Fever-Tree Elderflower Tonic Water
- Green Apple Slices
- Ice Cubes
Instructions:

In a cocktail shaker add Jameson Irish Whiskey, Smirnoff Sour Apple Vodka, and ice cubes.

Stir contents for 25 seconds using a long-handled cocktail spoon.

Strain into a rocks glass filled with fresh ice.

Top off with Fever Tree Elderflower Tonic Water.

Garnish with slices of green apple.

Serve.
Irish Flag Shot
What you’ll need:
- Creme De Menthe
- Bailey’s Irish Cream
- Grand Marnier
Instructions:
Slow and steady are the key to nailing the layers. Pour slowly using a spoon and make sure all three layers are even and you’re all set!
Irish Mule
What you’ll need:
- 2 limes and fresh mint leaves
- 6-8 oz Ginger beer
- Ice
- 2 oz Irish whiskey
Instructions:
squeeze one of the limes into a separate cup, and cut up the other for garnishing.
Fill your cup or glass about halfway with ice. Add the two oz of whiskey, then add the lime juice. Next add 6-8 oz of ginger beer (if you’re using Fever-Tree ginger beer, it’s an entire bottle). Top off with more ice if needed, and add the fresh mint leaves and lime on top.
